The London Backpack sewing pattern by LBG Studio is the perfect carryall for any busy person on the go. This backpack features two zippered pockets, one on the outer back panel and one inside for safekeeping. A drawstring and eyelets create a secure closure while the flap is held down with a magnetic snap. This bag is interfaced and uses canvas interlining to create a sturdy backpack that will stand up to lots of wear and tear. Sew yours in a quilting cotton with a contrasting flap. Please note: The sample sewn in the photo above was scaled to 125% and printed on tabloid size paper at a print shop.

Additional Notes

This PDF sewing pattern includes all pattern pieces and step-by-step instructions with illustrations.

A really strong pattern. Lots of sections to assemble, but that's the nature of small bags, right? The instructions were clear and very ready to follow.

I made lots of comments about this awesome pattern in my linked blog post. It was a BEAST to cut, assemble, and sew, but SOOO worth it in the end!

Great pattern! I made this one for my daughter and end up stealing it from her often. I'm going to have to make one for myself!
