The back kick pleat make this one pencil skirt that you can, in fact, walk in. Additional Notes

This 26-page pattern includes all pattern pieces and step-by-step instructions with illustrations and color photos.

It is designed for a pear shape and is longer than most pencil skirts I've seen. I felt the sizing runs a bit big as well since I used a thick wool and it still fits me a little loose around the waist.

Nice pattern, easy to fit and adapt. At first I thought it was weird that the waistband lining isn't topstitched in place, but it does look nice and sleek without any topstitching.

I found this pattern to be easy to assemble and fun to make. Its a classic design that never goes out of style. Endlessly customizable. I am a bit short waisted so in the future I will make the waistband half as tall as it is in the pattern. I recommend making a muslin for the best fit.

Loved this pattern! Made myself four skirts and love the. Pattern easy to follow and clear. Thank you

I was very impressed with how well the zipper and lining turned out. Instructions led to a professional finish.

I adored sewing with this pattern. I had to take it in quite a bit to fit, but I'm actually happy it comes in a range of larger sizes so I can make skirts for all my friends. The finished skirt looks as beautiful on the inside as it does the outside. I'll be using this pattern for years to come.

Tried many new skills throughout this pattern (blind hem, adding a lining, etc) and the pattern and instructions led me through each one with ease!
