drewiska's Toaster Sweater #2 by Sew House Seven
I used a stretchy bamboo terry fabric, which resulted in a cozy yet lightweight sweater. Next time I may try a fabric with more body.
I really liked the Toaster Sweater neckline aesthetic, but my discomfort with turtlenecks, which I've had since childhood, is still with me. Therefore, after initially sewing the neckline as instructed, I widened it and added a simple neck band.
I also like the side vent design in the hemline, but the vents combined with the short-ish length of the piece means I'll probably be wearing an extra layer under this shirt so I don't get too much of a breeze coming up from the bottom. Next time I'll try lengthening the torso.
I added ample cuffs with thumbholes to make it extra cozy.
