Indiesew x Dan Lehman Collaboration | Blog Tour Roundup

It's been three weeks since we launched our collaboration with Dan Lehman and Spoonflower and it's been so fun to see the response from the sewing community! The response to this custom-printed fabric adorned with carnivorous plants has been super exciting.

This novelty print is certainly outside of our typical offering, but we've seen the print resonate with scientists, botanists, and especially with sewists who want their handmade clothing to be a point of conversation.

Today, we're showcasing the four sewing bloggers who turned this fabric into stunning handmade garments. Check this out:

Danesha • Classyfied Life

Danesha sewed a stunning pair of pleated pants from the Fool's Paradise Dark Cotton Poplin (sold out, but the light color way is available!). We especially love her spot-on styling of these lovely trousers with a simple white top and strappy mustard heels.

Meg's Libby Shirt is sewn in the Fool's Paradise Dark Poly Crepe and is the perfect complement to a pair of dark jeans and booties for fall. Spoonflower's poly crepe fabric allows for super saturated colors, which is obvious in Meg's top.

Sara • The Sara Project

Sara's Roscoe Blouse is exactly the type of top we had envisioned for the Fool's Paradise Light Poly Crepe. This color way pairs especially well with denim and suede booties. Find out what modifications she made to the Roscoe Blouse to achieve this fit.

Mac • Sew Altered Style

Mac sewed the new Itch to Stitch pattern, the Montana Shirt (coming to Indiesew soon!) out of the Fool's Paradise Light Cotton Poplin. This crisp fabric just begs to be sewn into button-up designs, and Mac's version is nothing less than amazing.

Happy sewing!
